Self catering properties KILLUNAIG
19th century traditional farmhouse by the shores of Loch Scridian with enclosed garden and fantastic views
3 bedrooms - sleeps 6
Killunaig is a traditional, 19th century stone built farmhouse with open, far-reaching views across Loch Scridain towards Ben More - Mull's sole Munro (mountains over 3000 feet).
Modernised to a high standard, the comfortably furnished 3 bedroomed house has a loch-facing lounge with an open fire and a well-equipped large kitchen/diner downstairs in addition to the cloak room and a porch which is ideal for drying off coats and boots.
Upstairs the property has a king-size master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, two twin rooms and a family bathroom with shower over bath facilities.
The stone walled garden to the front of the house has a large lawn, herbaceous borders, garden bench and table. The garden overlooks Killunaig Reef on the sea loch, which has a resident population of both common and grey seals. The shoreline is easily accessed from the farmhouse by crossing the road.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the house. Kennels are also available if required.
Situated two miles outside Pennyghael, the farmhouse is a perfect base for exploring the Ross of Mull, Iona, Staffa and other parts of the Isle of Mull.
Killunaig Farmhouse is 0.75 mile from Torrans Bungalow and both properties may be booked together for larger parties.
