Whether you want to watch the sunrise over
Pennycross or
whether you prefer to watch the sunset over the Outer
Hebrides, with a can of beer and your faithful dog, from the top of Ben More
(maybe you prefer
something in between) there's plenty to enjoy on the Isle of Mull. There's plenty
of walking on hills around 2,000 feet in the middle of the Island with
impressive views from Ben Buie or from Ben Talla in particular. There
are coastal walks to the fossil tree at Burg or along the shore to the Carsaig
Arches. You could take one of the walks to the ruined village of Tireragan or
simply potter around any one of a number of deserted beaches or open stretches
of moorland. Birdlife is abundant everywhere and over 200 species have been
recorded on Mull recently.
